Go-to street style photographer, Diego Zuko, married Ceci Mendez, who has modeled for Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Celine and Dior (just to name a few) in a civil ceremony and intimate reception in their native Argentina on December, 17th 2015. The couple met almost eight years prior in New York over lunch after being introduced by mutual friends. What started as a friendly lunch soon turned into spending the entire day together in Soho, which led to dinner and joining Ceci's friends for a limo ride around the city and dancing until all hours. As Diego tells it, three clubs and some cocktails later, "we were already in love."
Diego proposed to Ceci at Eleven Madison Park in New York City. He told us, "I've wanted to take her ever since I heard that it was one of the few three-star Michelin restaurants in New York; a proposal was the perfect excuse to go, we had the most amazing dinner." After a small wedding in Mexico with only a few friends from New York present, the couple headed to their home country of Argentina to wed and celebrate with family and friends this past December.
"Ceci did not know what to wear for City Hall, and while she was searching she remembered this amazing Ralph Lauren Collection ivory suit she had hanging in Buenos Aires that was still unworn, and the look was found." The couple were married in Tulum, Mexico in May 2015 but made it official with a chic civil ceremony before their reception in Argentina.
Ceci wears a Ralph Lauren Collection suit, Nicholas Kirkwood shoes and a Gucci clutch; Diego wears Dior Homme.

The couple chose Villa Ocampo, the former house of Argentinian cultural figure Victoria Ocampo, who founded Sur magazine in 1931. The property is protected under UNESCO World Heritage for it's cultural significance. "It's a house full of history where we feel very inspired. It's also one of Ceci's favorite places in Buenos Aires."
The bride chose a sleek Ralph Lauren Collection sheath with short sleeves, shirred details and a keyhole back. She paired the look with pointed toe kitten heels by Nicholas Kirkwood and a minimal gold bangle.
Ceci opted for a simple, sweet nosegay of white peonies created for her by Camila Gassiebayle of Blumm Flower Co.
Diego, 33 and Ceci, 29 began dating long distance after their first meeting, making plans to visit one another or travel together every other month. Trips to Machu Picchu, Punta del Este, Salta and Paris between her visits to Buenos Aires and his to New York held them over until Diego moved to New York City, where they have been living together ever since.
