Getting married and having kids are two very significant events in our lives. And, even though the song says first comes love, then comes marriage, then comes baby in the baby carriage; those things can happen completely out of order. In this case that would be the baby bump before the "I dos".
What does one do in that case? They get a fabulous dress that's what they do! One that compliments you yet cleverly disguises the fact that you are preggers (or highlights that growing baby bump if you're already sharing the good news).
"Gowns with a higher or less fitted waist such as an empire are great for moms to be," says Johanna Kraft VP of Operations at New York based luxury bridal design house Isabelle Armstrong. They give you room to breathe as well as take the emphasis off your tummy. Choose one that has bare shoulders to further distract your guests from your mid section. Or go for something that sparkles, after all, you've got more than enough reason to be glowing.
Kraft also likes simple dresses like A-line or natural waist gowns, to hide your expanding belly and flatter everywhere else. Added embellishments such as lace and tulle can also help buffer your belly so no one will be focused on the baby on board.

If all else fail, Kraft suggests having a gown customized to match your new curves. In that case dare to pull out all the stops and go for over the top Hollywood movie star glamour. Choose a shocking color and/or a train that goes on for days and days. There is nothing wrong with going for a little drama. You are the bride and only plan on doing this once. Make it memorable.
